This hemp macrame choker necklace about 13in / 32cm long and is made with wooden beads that loop to clasp it closed over a plastic bead or a wooden one. Hemp tends to be stiff and a little itchy when fresh, so to soften it up before your skin and natural oils have a chance to do this on their own, you can soak your jewelry in warm or cool water for no more than 5 minutes, but please note that wooden beads can lose their coloring after getting wet. Then lay it out to air dry (on top of a towel can help dry it faster).
