This material was originally found in 2012, but is just now making its way to the United States. Maligano jasper was a big hit in the 2019 Rock & Gem Show. The maligano jasper is a high quality 19 X 11 mm pear cabochon weighing 5.85 carats set on a 36 X 30 mm green gilded brass pendant setting.
