The ceramic smoking pipe stems were discarded into the river centuries ago. I have cut the stem pieces into slices to make them into beads and strung on leather cord. The widths and colors vary. The bracelet design is accented with other beads for interest ( various porcelain, beach glass, horn, agate, aventurine, bone, glass African trade bead, and silver tone and copper beads).
