This wonderful planchette is hand made by yours truly. The wood is most likely pine dating from the 1970's. The glass window in the middle has a slight magnification. The height is 2 1/8 inches tall and 1 1/8 inches wide at the widest point. Now, you can always have one on you just in case you need to communicate. With a chain 40 inches long you will have no problem reaching the board.
